Is CCA a member of or affiliated with any education associations?

CCA is a member of the North Carolina Christian School Association and the American Association of Christian Schools.

What are the school hours?

Grades K-8 attend school from 7:55 – 3:30, Monday – Thursday.
Grades 9-12 attend school from 7:55 – 3:30, Monday – Friday, closing on Friday at 1:00 PM.

Is there an extended care program for students?

No, there is currently no program.

Is there a school uniform dress requirment?

Yes.

What are your guidelines for enrolling in Kindergarten?

A child should be 5 years old by August 1 of the year he/she is applying for Kindergarten. A child’s birthday is always viewed in full context of developmental maturity and will include physical and social development as well as academic readiness.  We offer early enrollment into Kindergarten after an evaluation by our Kindergarten teacher. 

What is the tuition/fees rate for CCA?

Tuition Rates and Fees may be viewed under Admissions. 

What standardized testing does CCA use?

CCA uses the Iowa Test of Basic Skills® to evaluate students’ progress in each grade. ITBS® is a nationally standardized achievement test for K-12 students

What extra-curricular activities are offered in grades 9-12?

CCA offers a number of activities for students outside of the academic classroom environment. In the area of Fine Arts, students have the opportunity to engage in music lessons, drama, art, PE activities, keyboard/computer skills, sign language, speech, family life skills, auto mechanics, journalism, and financial management.

Do you have a nurse on staff?

We do have a nurse on staff.

How do I schedule a tour of CCA or get more information about the school?

If you want to learn more about the comprehensive, Christ-centered education Carolina Christian Academy offers, we suggest a visit to our campus! You can schedule a personal tour, attend an Open House event, or perhaps coordinate a shadow day for your student.
